Our solution relies on the simple principle that homeowners should not need to worry about the status of their generator. With SenseQ 24/7 monitoring, the responsibility of identifying any problem is shifted to us, ensuring your generator at home or at your cottage will work when you need it.

SenseQ has partnered with Vibe Electrical to implement our generator monitoring solution. Vibe Electrical Ltd, a Toronto-based residential and commercial fully licensed electrical company, has been successfully installing and servicing generators in the GTA since 2013. They are part of a select group of electricians chosen as authorized Generac and Kohler generator dealers.

Homeowners can track the activity of their generator online at any time and from anywhere. When a problem is detected, homeowners get instant notifications via email and/or text messaging while the system triggers an immediate maintenance request to one of our certified technicians.

Q: How does the monitor communicate?
A: The monitor requires WiFi signal near the generator.

Q: Will you need access to my WiFi network?
A: Yes, during the install we will need to pair your generator with your WiFi network.

Q: Is the monitor secured?
A: The generator monitor can send information outbound only and is not accessible from the Internet. The information is end to end encrypted from the generator all the way through to the SenseQ cloud. End-to-end encryption prevents anyone in the middle from being able to read it.

Q: Can you connect the monitor to my guest WiFi network?
A: Yes, the monitor can make outbound connection through any available WiFi network.

Q: Can I receive email notifications when the unit runs?
A: Yes,  your monitor can notify you of any activities you choose to know.

Q: Do I need to be at home for the installation?
A: While it is a good idea to meet with us for the first time it is not necessary as long as you can provide us with your WiFi SSID and password in advance. Yearly maintenance or repairs can be performed even when the homeowner is not around.

Q: I already have someone that does my maintenance. Can you just install the monitor?
A: Yes. We are happy to provide just the monitor and monitoring services. Please contact us and we can discuss pricing with you.

Q: Is it only SenseQ that monitors my generator or can I monitor it too?
A: Homeowners are given access to the SenseQ monitoring secured link.

Q: How long have you been in business for?
